Tonsilitis drops

For throat infection & enlarged tonsils

The tonsils are a pair of soft masses located at back of the throat. Each tonsil is composed o special tissues called lymphoid tissues similar to lymph node. It is covered by a thin mucosal layer. Tonsillitis is inflammation of the tonsils. Signs and symptoms of tonsillitis include swollen tonsils, sore throat, difficulty swallowing and tender lymph nodes on the sides of the neck. Most cases of tonsillitis are caused by infection with a common virus, but bacterial infections also may cause tonsillitis.

Symptoms: Enlarged and red tonsils, sometimes with white or yellow patches. Persistent and severe throat pain.Pain and discomfort while swallowing. Swollen and tender lymph nodes on the sides of the neck. Elevated body temperature.

Treatment: Conventional Treatment mainly antibiotics and pain relievers. In severe or recurrent cases, surgical removal of the tonsils may be recommended. Composition: Belladonna, Baryta carbonica, Baryta iodata, Phytolacca decandra, Mercurius solubilis, Baryta phosphorica, Aconitum napellus

Action: Sore throat, difficulty in swallowing. Swollen tonsils. Excessive salivation. Malaise, chilly feeling, pyrexia, nasal congestion, running nose. Mouth breathing.

Dose: Adult: 15 drops three times daily. Child: 10 drops three times daily. In acute condition dose may be repeated hourly or as directed by the physician.
