Acne, medically known as acne vulgaris, is a prevalent skin condition, particularly on the face, commonly affecting teenagers and often referred to as pimples. Beyond its physical impact, acne can significantly impact the self-esteem of individuals. It results from the blockage of pores by dead skin cells and oil (sebum). While the face is the primary site, acne can also appear on areas with a higher density of oil glands, such as the shoulders, upper chest, and back.
